Satori Villas Bali

The Santana villa at the Satori villas complex was exactly what we were looking for - spacious, in the outskirts of Ubud, right next to rice fields. The pictures on the Satori villa onsite is a good representation of the villa. Good to know is that there was some 100 meters where you cannot drive a car which the hotel informs about on their web site and in your booking confirmation. But the staff is very helpful and offers to transport you to/from Ubud centrum by motor bikes whenever you want (and the same with your luggage when arriving). We preferred walking to Ubud centrum which only took around 10-15 minutes. Before you arrive they send you much helpful information about things like Visa and hotel car service from the airport. The villa had all you need if you want to cook for yourself. But if you book breakfast like we did you not only get really nice fresh fruit but also get to choose between things like Nasi Goreng, banana pancakes or toast which the staff come and cook for you in the villa in the morning. You send your breakfast order and other requests via a WhatsApp group to the staff which is very convenient. Since the villa is right next to rice fields and nature there will be birds, frogs, lizards and ants in your surroundings, and occasional roosters sounding from the nearby farm houses. But as said - for us this was only part of experiencing the true Bali. We ordered car service from and to the airport via the Satori villas which worked very good even if we got delayed arriving. We also hired a driver for a full day from the same car service to visit different sites in Bali. Our driver Wayan was very service minded and gave suggestions for our trips, for example to a water fall with much fewer people, and he even shared stories about Bali, the culture and way of living - to be honest this was one of our highlights of our Bali trip.

This was our favorite accommodation during our Bali vacation. The staff are excellent with communication even before your stay making sure you have everything you need, pick up from airport, in villa massages, private chef for dinner, any tour you would like all lined up before your arrival. We had in villa massages and an in villa dinner scheduled for our first night as we knew we would be exhausted from traveling and it was the best way to start our vacation. The FOOD!!!! Everything from the soup to the veggies to the noodles and dessert were incredible! They prepared enough food for days. Each morning a crew would come into our kitchen and prepare the most glorious breakfasts we looked forward to each day (you make a selection the day before) I particularly enjoyed waking up at dawn and walking up the driveway to the path in the rice terraces to watch the sunrise over Mt Batur each day. You can even hear chanting in the distant from the local temples. My only complaint is that we didn't have more time in this amazing place. Just walking distance from the art market, many delicious Warungs tucked away in the paddies, massage spa galore and delicious restaurants all very close but when you retire for the evening you are in a very serene place that feels far from it all. I cannot wait to return to Satori Villas!!!

EVERYTHING!!!! Loved the beautiful villas. Loved the personalised service. The staff were AMAZING!!! Scooters into town and back were so much fun. The children in our group just loved the staff attention to them AND the scooter rides. Honestly, I cannot fault this accommodation. I spent my 70th Birthday there with family and I will always remember it. If you are looking for something special then these are the villas to choose. We booked Serena and Santana right next door to each other. You won't regret booking these. Oh and also, they have filtration system installed so that all tap water is drinkable. The property was spacious, spotless, and perfectly located for our 11-day stay in Ubud. Just a short ten-minute walk from the center, it offered the ideal balance—peaceful and relaxing, yet close enough to enjoy the vibrant charm of the market area. The staff were truly exceptional, going above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. They were wonderful with our three children, even entertaining them with fun scooter rides around to and from the market. We loved the in-villa dining and massages, and the team also arranged drivers and recommended great day trips. Everything was taken care of with genuine care and attention. We honestly couldn’t recommend Satori Villas enough. Thank you for making our time in Bali so special—a trip filled with memories we’ll treasure for a lifetime!

This is a beautiful, beautiful villa that is so peaceful and very well appointed. The view across the rice paddies from the central courtyard and pool are delightful. The villa is far enough away from the centre of Ubud to feel like you are well out of the hustle and bustle and close enough (10 mins walk) to get into town to eat and shop. We spent five days here with our two children and their partners and our 14 month old grand daughter and loved it. We really appreciated Satori Villas organising a bamboo pool fence for us to hire so we didn't need to be as concerned about her crawling into the pool. The staff are so friendly and accomodating and the breakfasts cooked in the Villa kitchen brilliant - fruit, juice, toast and a choice of eggs, pancakes and nasi or mie goreng. We will be back for sure!!
